I'm going to show you an activity that can be done with 6-8 years-old-kids to practice speaking skill.
In the class, you play the song: TEN LITTLE AEROPLANES, and then you start a conversation about this subject. I'll show how I do it:
First I play the song,
Then, I ask them to watch it again and choose their favourite aeroplane, and they can sing at the same time. They work in groups of four making questions and answering; practising the following structures:
What's your favourite ....?
It's ....
Back all together, I ask them about what they'd like to be when they grow up in order to practice again the SPEAKING SKILL.
